www.liveupmedia.co.uk

Effective date: April 2026 (replaces previous March 2026 version)

By purchasing this service you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Our Service

We are a specialized video production company in London producing visionary company videos and explainer videos across defense, marine, aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries. We operate in good faith and provide a high-quality, hands-off video production service.

2. Style & Expectations

The examples, case studies and work shown on our website, product page and portfolio represent the style, quality, tone and creative flavour you will receive. This is our unique blend of 2D/3D animations and text-led storytelling.

We promote clients at scale, providing industry authority and credibility, not just thinking about technical details but the bigger impact they have as platform / infrastructure / system partners.

3D animation and any other video editing technique is used at our creative discretion to enhance the story. We do not always provide full 3D modelling services from scratch, only at our discretion. We work with the assets and materials we can responsibly source or that you provide. It is our preference to explore unusual and non-industry standard tools to provide unparalleled depth to our engineering story telling, our video production process is our own and is a closed non-collaborative approach.

3. Process & Timeline
  • The project begins with a short discovery/kick-off call and receipt of all your branding assets (logos, guidelines, images, videos, 3D files, etc.).

  • We then produce the first draft.

  • Timeline: 3 weeks from receipt of assets and completion of the discovery call (subject to current studio workload). We will always communicate any changes to the schedule.

  • This is a hands-off service designed for busy founders and leadership teams. We do not accommodate micro-management, frequent meetings or rushed deadlines.

4. Revisions

Two rounds of revisions are included. Additional revisions are charged at £105 per hour (billed in 15-minute increments). Most clients are happy with the first or second draft. Revisions must stay within the original scope discussed in the discovery call. Major new ideas or out-of-scope changes require additional fees.

You must provide all feedback within 4 weeks of receiving the first draft. After 4 weeks the project will be archived and we reserve the right not to complete further revisions.

5. Payment, Refunds & Cancellation
  • A minimum 50% deposit is required to start any project.

  • No refunds are given, since R&D and work starts immediately.

  • Any additional work (extra revisions, branding updates after delivery, etc.) is invoiced at £105/hour and payable net 30 days.

6. Deliverables & Rights
  • You receive full commercial usage rights to the final video for lifetime use.

  • We will supply the video in HD MP4 plus one additional aspect ratio (e.g. 4:5 or 9:16 for social media) at no extra cost.

  • The video is delivered without a voiceover.

7. Portfolio & Showcase Rights

We reserve the right to showcase the finished video on our website, reels, social media, product pages and marketing materials unless you explicitly state in writing before the discovery call that the project must remain completely private (“This is a private project – please do not share or showcase it”). If no such request is made in writing, we may promote the work freely and will not remove it from our portfolio later.

If you abandon the project we still reserve the right to use the work in our marketing.

8. Scope Limitations
  • This is an editing and animation service only – no live-action filming is included.

  • We primarily work with client-supplied assets, but may also use licensed, publicly available or internally created materials where appropriate. Where client assets are required for the project, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete logos, branding, images, videos and 3D files at the start of the project.

  • We cannot restart or significantly rework the video if your product or messaging changes midway through production. Minor additions (e.g. an end card for a new feature) may be accommodated at our discretion.

  • We source music, stock footage and sound effects from licensed sources and do our best to ensure they are properly cleared. We are not liable for any copyright issues that may arise.

9. Client Representations, Warranties & Indemnity

You represent and warrant that all materials you supply to us (including logos, branding, 3D models, CAD files, OBJ/STL/STEP files and any other content) are owned by you or you have obtained all necessary rights, licences and permissions to use them and to authorise us to use them in the production of your video, and that they do not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiveUP Media, its directors, employees, contractors and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the materials you provide or any breach of the above warranties. This indemnity survives termination of the project.

10. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes.

Our total liability to you under or in connection with this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of profits, loss of business, reputational damage or any loss arising from your use of the final video.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

11. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time (changes will not affect projects already in progress). The version in force at the time of your purchase will apply to your project.

12. Sensitive or Disputed Technologies

Where a project relates to products, technologies or subject matter that are subject to ongoing legal proceedings, disputes, or potential intellectual property claims:

  • LiveUP Media reserves the right to limit the scope of work to high-level, conceptual or non-technical representations of the subject matter.

  • LiveUP Media will not be required to use or review confidential, proprietary, or non-public materials, including but not limited to CAD files, engineering data, or internal documentation.

  • Any visuals, animations or representations created may be interpretive, illustrative or conceptual in nature and are not intended to reflect the exact technical design, functionality or construction of any product.

  • The client acknowledges that LiveUP Media is not responsible for verifying the originality, ownership or legal status of the underlying technology being depicted.

  • The client agrees that they are solely responsible for ensuring that the commissioning, publication and use of the video does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any legal obligations, including those arising from ongoing litigation.

  • The indemnity set out in Clause 9 expressly extends to any claims arising from the depiction, promotion or communication of such technologies, whether or not client-supplied materials were used.
